• Explore the general sciences relating to hair and develop manipulative skills, safety judgments, work habits, and desirable attitudes in the cosmetology profession.
• Acquire theoretical and hands on skill in haircutting, hairstyling, haircoloring, scalp care, braiding, wigs, and hair extensions, as well as diagnosis and application of chemical processes.
• Learn technical skill and knowledge of facials, makeup, hair removal, manicure, pedicure, and nail enhancements.
• Gain insights into the salon business, maintain a professional image, develop communication skills, and prepare for licensure.
